In December 2012, Ishya's Director, Dr. Catherine Honeyman, completed documentation of a three-year study on entrepreneurship education in Rwanda. The study included participation in curriculum planning and development meetings, observations in 11 Rwandan classrooms for one academic year, and surveys and focus group discussions with about 460 students, and a six month follow-up with 100 graduates.

The results of this study will be made available in a series of policy briefing papers. A book and articles are also under development. The published abstract of this dissertation can be found here; publication of the full dissertation has been embargoed until after the book has been published.

Note: This research has been updated in 2013 by further contact with the 100 graduates included in the study, now three years after their graduation.
